Start registration

The registration process starts with registration of the product(s), that shall be certified / verified by DNV GL. Please contact your DNV GL local station to agree on the alignment of your EIAPP specific data.

Under 'EIAPP - Engine International Air Pollution Prevention' it is possible to choose between three type of product registration:

• Parent Engine
• Member Engine (Manual)
• Member Engine (Excel).

EIAPP Certification of Parent Engine

Click on 'Parent Engine' to register a product. Now, you can upload your own application form for certification of a Parent Engine.

In DNV GL service documents you have access to all Rules, Class Programs and other related documents. 

To close the product registration please click on the button 'OK'.

You can after the product registration invite DNV GL for a visit. How to request a visit is described in 'Request a service' under 'VISITS'.

EIAPP Certification of Member Engine (Manual)

If all specific engine group and family data are aligned and agreed with DNV GL, please click on 'Member Engine (Manual)' to register a product.  

To evaluate and issue the EIAPP certificate, DNV GL recommend to fill in as minimum the fields marked with ()

You also have the possibility to upload the specific technical file for the member engine.

To close the product registration please click on the button 'OK'.

EIAPP Certification of Member Engine (Excel)

You have the possibility to register one or more products by using the excel upload functionality. Click on '´Member Engine (Excel)' to start with the registration.

Please download first the excel template and fill in all required information. With the upload of the filled out excel sheet, the information are checked and missing information are shown in the summary after the upload has been finished.

Click 'OK' to close the excel product registration and go back to the product overview page. Now all your products registered through excel are visible in the list.

A product with missing information is marked with a (). You have now the possibility to edit and fill in the missing information by clicking on () and  upload the specific technical file for the member engine.
